General Incentive Objective

 

This notice aims to support small-scale investments by micro and small enterprises for the creation, expansion or modernisation of their business, promoting:

→Job creation and strengthening of the local productive fabric.
→Modernisation and increased resilience of local economies.
→Sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs in the Terras de Trás-os-Montes region.

 

Supported Typologies

 

Small-scale investment projects for the creation, expansion or modernisation of micro and small enterprises.

→Creation of new business units and establishments.
→Expansion or production capacity increase in existing facilities.
→Process modernisation, digital adaptation and energy transition.

 

Eligible Expenses

 
✓Tangible assets: machinery, industrial and IT equipment including operational software.
✓Intangible assets: technology transfer, licences, patents and custom or standard software.
✓Building construction, refurbishment works and premises adaptations (when justified by the project objective).
✓Costs associated with certification of products, processes or services, brand design and registration.
✓Expenses related to the verification of payment claims by certified accountants or statutory auditors (up to €2,000).
✓Indirect costs calculated using simplified cost options at a flat rate of 5% of eligible direct costs.

Eligible Beneficiaries

 
✓For-profit micro and small enterprises of any legal form with organized accounting.
✓Operational workplace located within NUTS III Terras de Trás-os-Montes.
✓Commenced commercial activity at least 1 month and at most 1 year prior to the application date.
✓At least 1 paid full-time equivalent (FTE) staff member registered in social security for at least 1 month.
✓Eligible investment budget between €25,000 and €300,000 with a maximum duration of 24 months.
