Tourism and Industry: 50 million euros to modernize, adapt and requalify buildings

The "Call 50 | Tourism and Industry", managed by Turismo Fundos, aims to provide liquidity for investment in the adaptation, requalification, and modernisation of properties allocated to tourism or industrial activity - or in the conversion to tourism activity when located in Low-Density Territories (TBD) - fulfilling the purposes of environmental, social, and economic sustainability.

This programme is framed within the financial support measures for Industry and the Action Plan "Reactivate Tourism, Build the Future".

What is the great relevance of this programme?

This programme is characterised by the sale and subsequent long-term lease of a property, safeguarding the right to repurchase it. In other words, through this line, the Government has 50 million euros to purchase properties from tourism and industry companies, which will subsequently be leased back to these same businesses.

Application deadline
The referred Call is in force until Turismo Fundos considers that the objectives of this initiative have been met.

Beneficiaries
Companies that own properties allocated to tourism or industrial activity.

Note: Companies that are not owners of properties allocated to tourism activity but propose to invest in their requalification and subsequent lease or, if located in TBD [Low-Density Territories], propose to invest in their conversion for use and subsequent lease, are also admitted as recipients.

Allocation
50 million euros.

Maximum Amount
€6,000,000 up to a maximum of 85% of the average of the real estate valuations.

Purchase option
- May be exercised from the 3rd year of the lease term until the end of the lease contract term;
- May also be accompanied by the obligation to purchase at the end of the lease term.
