Portugal 2030 – Productive Innovation: key differences and new features of call for proposals MPR-2026-6

25 Jun 2026 - 25 Jun 2026 14:30 - 15h15 Online PT2030 | Financial Incentives

About this Webinar

In an increasingly competitive economy undergoing constant digital and ecological transformation, the modernization capacity of Portuguese companies is the main driver for sustainable growth. The long-awaited launch of the new Productive Innovation notice (Notice MPR-2026-6) emerges as a crucial opportunity for SMEs that intend to expand their production capacity, invest in advanced technology, and differentiate/diversify their products or services.

With applications open until September 30, this new notice brings several significant changes that business owners should not ignore. Right off the bat, it introduces a more restrained global budget of 182.5 million euros and, for the first time, merges investments in Low-Density Territories (€71M) and Other Territories (€111.5M) into a single tender.

This webinar is, therefore, the key opportunity to inform SME business owners about the main changes to the notice, how to prepare the project, the required documentation, and what other financial instruments are available to SMEs to compensate for the cuts in incentive rates, especially for companies located in regions classified as "Other Territories."

What you will learn in this session

Identify the main changes introduced in the new notice (Notice MPR-2026-6), such as budget allocations, incentive rates, indicators, and metrics, among others.
Understand how to compensate for cuts in non-refundable incentive rates through articulation with other complementary investment lines, such as the Fomento IFIC Mais line.
Recognize the mandatory documentation and technical requirements demanded to submit with the application within the regulatory deadline (until September 30).
Distinguish the specific requirements, base rates, and bonuses stipulated for each region of the country (Low-Density Territories vs. Other Territories).
Learn about the most common mistakes that affect a project's success (merit ratio failures, insufficient innovation, or eligibility issues) to develop a mitigation plan that shields your company's application.
