The article from Jornal Económico announces the finalists of the 7th edition of the Heróis PME Awards , an initiative promoted by Yunit Consulting that aims to recognise Portuguese Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises with exemplary stories of resilience, innovation, and economic impact. This year, 135 applications from 86 companies were submitted – a 52% increase compared to 2024, reflecting the growing interest of SMEs in sharing their inspiring journeys. The featured categories include Microenterprise, Small Enterprise, Medium Enterprise, Digital Transformation, Internationalisation, Sustainability (Fator S), and Emerging Start-up. The 35 finalists, three per category, will be evaluated by an independent jury and will gain access to mentoring and networking initiatives.
The awards ceremony is scheduled for 27 June in Lisbon.
