“A very long-term vision”. Three Portuguese entrepreneurs discuss doing business in Africa

22 05 2025 Forbes Portugal

As part of the Growth Forum promoted by the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP), three Portuguese entrepreneurs with a significant presence in the African market shared their experiences and internationalisation strategies. Bernardo Maciel, CEO of Yunit Consulting, highlighted the importance of a distinctive and long-term approach for companies looking to expand into Africa. Bragalux, represented by Bruno Rodrigues, and Rangel Logistics Solutions, led by Nuno Rangel, also emphasised the challenges and opportunities encountered in their internationalisation processes, underlining the need to adapt to the cultural and infrastructural specificities of African markets. This discussion reinforces the view that business success in Africa requires strategy, resilience, and a deep understanding of local dynamics.
