PT2030 - Productive Innovation: Applications open!

It's true! You read that right. Applications for Portugal 2030, under the Business Competitiveness Productive Innovation IS, are finally open! There are 400 million euros for SMEs and an incentive rate of 40% fully non-repayable.

The goal is to support individual productive investment operations in innovative activities, promoted by SMEs, according to the following types of action:
✅ The creation of a new establishment;
✅ Increasing the capacity of an existing establishment;
✅ Diversification of an establishment's production into products not previously produced at the establishment;
✅ Fundamental change in the overall production process of an existing establishment.

What are the eligible operations?
✅ Production of new goods and services, or significant improvements to current production, through the transfer and application of knowledge;
✅ Adoption of new, or significantly improved, manufacturing, logistics and distribution, organisational, or marketing processes or methods.

The application period has already started, with analysis and decision-making carried out according to the following calendar:

📅 Phase 1: 02/06/2023, exclusively for candidates who submitted the Request for Aid Registration (RPA) by 30/11/2022
📅 Phase 2: 28/07/2023, exclusively for candidates who submitted the RPS
📅 Phase 3: 29/09/2023, for all applications, with or without RPA
📅 Phase 4: 15/12/2023, for all applications, with or without RPA

The application process for Portugal 2030 is more complex than it might seem at first glance, requiring knowledge of the legal framework of the different calls, as well as mastery of various knowledge and tools that help save time and avoid the bureaucracy inherent in applications.
