Yunit Consulting joins the UN Global Compact and reinforces its commitment to responsible business practices

Yunit Consulting is pleased to announce it has joined the United Nations Global Compact Network Portugal, a voluntary leadership platform dedicated to the development, implementation, and disclosure of responsible business practices.

By joining this initiative, Yunit Consulting joins thousands of companies worldwide that are committed to adopting concrete measures to promote sustainable economic growth and contribute to a fairer and more balanced future.

The UN Global Compact challenges companies to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment, and Anti-Corruption, and to take action in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is currently the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative, comprising over 15,000 companies and 3,000 non-business organisations in more than 160 countries, and counting on more than 70 local networks that promote the integration of sustainability principles into the global business fabric.

Yunit will now annually present its progress through the Communication on Progress, a transparency tool that highlights its continuous commitment to responsible business practices and the achievement of the SDGs.
