COMPETE 2030 opens support for individual business training

The COMPETE 2030 programme has launched a Call for applications for “Individual cluster business training” with applications open until 31 January 2024.

This notice aims to provide support for the Training of entrepreneurs, managers, and workers of companies included in the Competitiveness Clusters: Footwear and Fashion, Automotive, Architecture, Engineering and Construction, Sustainable Habitat, Textile, Technology, and Fashion.

Eligible expenses

Covered are training actions, in face-to-face or online mode, which aim to foster the innovation and competitiveness of the company, through the specific qualification of entrepreneurs, managers, and workers of the companies, for the reorganisation and improvement of management capabilities, reinforcing their productivity.

Beneficiaries

Medium and large enterprises that meet the eligibility criteria and intervene as employing entities may apply, and for this purpose may have their own certified structure or resort to a certified or equivalent training entity.

NUTS II regions of the mainland: North, Centre, and Alentejo.

The location of the operation is defined by the region where the establishment of the intervened company is located, where the trainees carry out their activity on a regular and permanent basis.

Incentive rate

The base co-financing rate is 50% and may be increased by the following majorations, but may not, in any case, exceed the maximum limit of 70%:

a) By 10 p.p. if the training is given to workers with disabilities or disadvantaged workers; 

b) By 10 p.p. if the incentive is granted to medium-sized enterprises.

Application period: 15/11/2023 to 31/01/2024 (6 pm).
