You are never too small to make a difference: Claudia Ribeiro

Tell us about the impact your work has had on so many people's lives. Don't be modest! Give us an example of a story that marked you because you had direct intervention before and after an organization and what positive impact resulted from that.

Throughout my time at Yunit, I've had the opportunity to accompany countless projects from their birth, when they were still just an idea on paper. It's extremely gratifying to see these ideas turn into reality, not because our support alone makes the projects happen, but because our intervention is often a fundamental part of their success. One recent example that particularly struck me was a project in the tourism sector, more specifically in fine dining. We were with the client at every stage: from the initial planning, through the application for incentives under Portugal 2020, to the execution of the project and, finally, the opening of the space.

Shortly after opening, the restaurant was awarded a Michelin Star. A recognition that underlines the client's vision and excellence, but also highlights the tangible impact of our work.

What do you love most about your job?

What fascinates me most about my work is the diversity of sectors, contexts and challenges we come into contact with on a daily basis. Every day there is room to learn something new and immerse yourself in completely different realities.
It's especially rewarding to accompany companies at key moments in their development, to help turn a vision into something concrete and sustainable. The tourism project I mentioned earlier is a clear example of this.
of this: closely accompanying a client who starts out with an ambitious idea and, with our support, sees that vision come to fruition with success and recognition, is one of the greatest rewards of our work.

Working in the area of incentives and investment support allows us to have a direct impact on the growth of companies, job creation and the enhancement of the national economy, and this is undoubtedly very motivating.
