Y Talents - Get to know the other side of Francisco Santos

Tell us a little bit about your journey, where you come from, what your background is, where you studied, and how long you have been with Yunit?

I am from Torres Vedras, I took a degree in Business Management at the Polytechnic of Santarém and a master's in Financial Analysis at ISCAC. I joined Yunit in March of this year, with previous experience in auditing and consulting.

Tell us about a project or moment that particularly motivated you or challenged you in an unexpected way.

Projects with foreign companies are always a good challenge. In the first few months, I had the opportunity to evaluate a company from Spain and, subsequently, a group of companies from Brazil. The biggest adversity was understanding the companies' accounting standards, and the learning process was very interesting.

How would you describe Yunit's culture?

Culture is one of the most important assets Yunit has. It is characterized by closeness and mutual help, always with an informal aspect. From the moment you join this company, anyone is available to help and advise you.

What advice would you give to someone who has just landed at Yunit?

Feel free to ask questions whenever a doubt arises and don't be afraid to give your opinion.

If you hadn't gone into working at a Consultancy, is there any other sector of activity you would have chosen?

I would say the automotive sector, due to the love I have for classic cars.

Tell us about a hobby you have or an activity you really want to do one day!

One day I would like to take a trip to the USA.

What book, trip, or other activity recommendation was memorable for you and would you like to share with us?

Last summer I took a trip with friends along the coast of Spain. We started in Malaga, where we went to the city fair which has a very good atmosphere. Then we passed through Marbella and Cadiz, where the beaches are very good.
