Tell us a little bit about your journey, where you come from, what your background is, where you studied, and how long you have been with Yunit?
My name is Carlos Seabra, and I have been a Certified Accountant since 1996. I graduated from ISCAP and FCEE (Católica). My professional journey began at the company “Bragit – Gestão e Trading, S.A.”, after which I set up on my own, taking on a series of roles in various companies, but always on an outsourcing basis. That was how I started working with YUNIT in 2019, until at the end of 2024 I decided to embrace the YUNIT project full-time.
Tell us about a project or moment that particularly motivated you or challenged you in an unexpected way.
The YUNIT project. I left my own practice to embrace this project that I believe in. As with everything I get involved in, it is the challenge that drives me, and the belief!
How would you describe Yunit's culture?
Believing that anything is possible, as long as you fight for it.
What advice would you give to someone who has just landed at Yunit?
No one just "lands" at YUNIT; if you come here, it is to add value, so you will have to "wear the shirt" (be fully committed) and fight for the company.
If you hadn't gone into working at a Consultancy, is there any other sector of activity you would have chosen?
Coming from a family linked to accounting and taxation, I never thought of another area of work.
Tell us about a hobby you have or an activity you really want to do one day!
I have already participated in the Portuguese Cross-Country Rally Championship; I would like to participate in the “Dakar” rally one day.
What book, trip, or other activity recommendation was memorable for you and would you like to share with us?
The book “The Pilgrimage” ("Os caminhos de Santiago") by Paulo Coelho.

If you could choose a superhero power, what would it be? None, I don't believe in heroes.
