Types of Investment

Simplified R&D Project – a simplified instrument to support small business initiatives by SMEs, for the acquisition of consultancy services in research, technological development, and innovation activities, in the field of blue biotechnology, in the following areas:

• Knowledge transfer;
• Intellectual and industrial property protection;
• Quality and Eco-innovation.

Eligible Expenses

Eligible costs include those directly related to the acquisition of innovation consultancy services in blue biotechnology, in the following domains:

• Knowledge transfer – consultancy and technical assistance services within the scope of the purposes and objectives of this call and certification of R&D and innovation management systems;
• Intellectual and industrial property protection – consultancy for the acquisition, protection, and commercialization of intellectual and industrial property rights, and for licensing agreements;
• Quality and Eco-innovation – consultancy related to the use of standards and testing and certification services.

Funding

Call Budget – €1,500,000

The incentive is non-reimbursable up to a maximum limit of €25,000 per project.

Application Period

From 30/06/2025 to 30/09/2025.

SMEs – Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Small Mid Caps.
