Types of Investment

The following actions are eligible:

1. The creation of new, permanent employment contracts associated with the establishment of new companies or the expansion of existing ones;
2. The creation of new, permanent jobs in social economy entities.

Eligible Expenses

• Direct staff costs: Remuneration charges, plus the respective contributory expenses payable by the employer;
• Other costs of the operation.

Funding

Call Budget: €3,100,000
Support Rate: The rate is calculated based on:

• Staff Costs
  Territories/parishes with medium and high unemployment rates: maximum funding limit of 90% of the basic salary up to the equivalent of 3*IAS (€1,567.50), per month of support;
  Territories with low unemployment rates: maximum funding limit of 90% of the basic salary up to the equivalent of 2*IAS (€1,045.00), per month of support;
  * The respective mandatory social security contributions and holiday and Christmas bonuses are also eligible, in proportion to the eligible base support.
• Other Costs: result from applying a flat rate of 40% to the eligible calculation base, i.e., the eligible direct staff costs.

Specifics of the Call

Eligibility Criteria

• The project must lead to net job creation.
• Per project, funding is limited to the creation of 4 jobs.
• Director, administration or cooperative member positions are not eligible.
