(Hereinafter, Yunit Consulting), with registered office at Avenida da Igreja, n. º 42 - 1.º Esq. 1700-239 Lisboa (Portugal) and NIPC 509.501.508 is a company dedicated to the exploration of the activity of consultancy to companies, being the owner of the domain www.yunitconsulting.pt, where its website is hosted.

Yunit Consulting, as the entity responsible for data processing, is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of its customers and users of the website and has therefore developed and adopted this policy and the practices described herein, which we advise you to read.

4.4 If a specific or mandatory period is required by law, the data will be stored for that period. In all other cases, personal data will be kept for no longer than the periods indicated above, which Yunit Consulting considers sufficient to fulfil the purposes.

5. Newsletters and other commercial and/or promotional communications.

5.1 We may send newsletters or other commercial and/or promotional communications relating to Yunit Consulting provided that the user gives his prior and informed consent for this purpose by ticking the checkboxes provided on the website for this purpose.

5.2 The user may withdraw the consent given at any time, through the option provided for this purpose in the footer of the communications sent via email (unsubscribe) or by written communication addressed to Yunit Consulting, to the contacts indicated in the title on the exercise of rights. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the processing carried out prior to it.

5.3. The provisions of the preceding paragraph shall not prevent Yunit Consulting, where it has obtained from its customers, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection legislation, their email address in the context of the sale of a product or service, from using it for the purpose of direct marketing of its own products or services similar to those transacted, provided that it clearly and explicitly guarantees the customers concerned the possibility of objecting, free of charge and easily, at the time of each message to the sending of such communications, for example, through the unsubscribe option in the footer of the emails.

  • Access: the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed and, if so, the right to access your personal data;
  • Rectification: the right to have inaccurate personal data concerning you rectified and to have incomplete personal data completed;
  • Erasure: the right to obtain the erasure of your personal data when one of the reasons listed in the legislation applies, namely when:

  • Objection: the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you;
  • Portability: the right to receive personal data relating to you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and the right to transmit such data to another controller without the controller to whom the personal data have been provided being able to prevent this, where the processing is based on consent or contract or is carried out by automated means.

9.3 You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (National Data Protection Commission at www.cnpd.pt).

9.5 If you ask us to delete some or all of your personal data, some of the services you have requested may not be provided to you. Yunit Consulting may be required to retain personal data that may be necessary for the fulfilment of legal obligations to which it is bound.

10. When do we communicate data to third parties?

10.1 Yunit Consulting may use third parties to provide certain services, such as maintenance, technical support, and marketing, in particular to send a newsletter, which may have access to the personal data provided, in particular the data necessary for the contractualised purposes.

10.2 Yunit Consulting ensures that the entities that have access to the data are credible and offer high guarantees of protection, never being transmitted data beyond what is necessary for the provision of the contracted service, however, Yunit Consulting remains responsible for the personal data made available.

11.2 Examples of such third parties could be Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook or YouTube, through the buttons that may be present on the Yunit Consulting website.

12. Data transfers outside the European Union

12.1 Your data will be processed by Yunit Consulting within the European Economic Area.

12.2 In the event of data transfers to third countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, Yunit Consulting will comply with the law, in particular with regard to the suitability of the destination country for the protection of personal data and the requirements applicable to such transfers, and personal data will not be transferred to jurisdictions that do not offer guarantees of security and protection.

13. The Minors

13.1 The Yunit Consulting website is not directed at persons under the age of 18, and we request that such minors do not provide us with personal data through the Yunit Consulting website or via e-mails.

14. Sensitive Personal Data

14.1 Yunit Consulting appreciates that you do not send us and do not make known to us any sensitive personal data, i.e., information revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic information, biometric information, health data or data concerning a natural person's sex life or sexual orientation.

14.2 If you still send or make known to us such categories of personal data, they will be deleted immediately.

15.1 Yunit Consulting reserves the right to adjust or change this Privacy Policy at any time, and such changes will be publicised.
